This page details the requirements for establishing the energy benchmarking for certain municipal buildings in the Town of Richland.

The Village of Pulaski and the Town of Richland adopted a Climate Action Plan in 2016.

Efforts to reduce Greenhouse Gas emissions, energy savings, conservation/environmental, and safety are at the forefront.  The Town has replaced the street light lamps with LED lighting. This lowers energy costs and safety with the different type of illumination.  Solar panels have been installed at the Town water building.  Presentations to inform community members have occurred. The latest presentation was done in November 2021. An expert from SLELO PRISM on invasive species educated the Climate Action Plan committee about the effects invasive species can have on our fishing and hunting industry.  Continued efforts will be made to reduce emissions and more.
